MAGICC

Magicc is a Sri Lankan electronic music producer and DJ born to the mountains of Kandy, now based in Colombo. His sound is inspired by film composers like Alexandre Desplat & Harry Gregson Williams alongside Underground music artists like Kamilo Sanclemente and Kasper Koman, He came to electronic music the long way. As a vocalist at age fourteen, he then moved into production, self teaching until He studied his foundation in live performance at DJ Academy Sri Lanka and music production and technology at Pearlbay Institute. He also learned production, mixing & mastering under various renowned artists and engineers from USA, Canada & Argentina in both the Underground and Commercial space. now his productions move precisely and freely, like the elements of our universe. His music has been released on labels like Balkan Connection, Café De Anatolia, Polyptych Limited & 3rd Avenue and more with upcoming releases on many more renowned labels . As a DJ, he has shared stages with artists such as Khen, Eli Nissan, Sahar Z, Subandrio, and GMJ & Matter, performing at events including BALANCE Festival and more renowned venues like Cinnamon Life. Rooted in progression and atmosphere, Magicc’s sound is driven by emotion, storytelling, and a deep connection to the dancefloor.⚡
