ShemoW is a Sri Lankan DJ and producer known for his deep, melodic sound, blending progressive house with organic textures and atmospheric grooves. Driven by a moment of inspiration after watching the 2015 Ultra Music Festival AfterMovie, ShemoW dove into music production with a focused and evolving dedication. Starting out on FL Studio before making the leap to Ableton, his early creations, including the debut track "Rou-He," marked the beginning of a distinctive musical identity. His work balances hypnotic flow with intricate production, reflecting both technical growth and personal introspection. A practicing member of the Hokkekō within Nichiren Shoshu Buddhism, ShemoW’s spiritual path quietly informs the calm precision and mindful energy present in his sets and productions. That deeper connection can also be heard in his podcast series, Fly Nature, where he explores deep house, organic house, melodic, and progressive styles through carefully curated episodes designed to guide listeners through reflective, atmospheric journeys.
